Lepetane: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lepetane is a village of fishermen and seafarers. It is located on the eastern side of Verige, the strait connecting the bays of Tivat and Kotor. From the seaside, Lepetane rises inland into greenery and olive groves.

Coast

The Kamenari–Lepetane ferry transports passengers and vehicles between the municipalities of Tivat and Herceg Novi. The ferry line has an online ticket office. A beach near the ferry and between Lepetane and Seljanovo is described as approximately 200 metres long. It consists mainly of pebbles and partly of sand; natural shade and beach furniture are also mentioned.

Culture

The fortification and the sacred complex of Gospa od Anđela date back to the 15th century. The Church of St. Ana in Lepetane is probably Baroque and dates from the 18th century. The Church of St. Elias is located in the hinterland of Lepetane and is associated with views over the Bay of Kotor. It is described as being in poor condition; its roof structure has collapsed. The red quarry of Lepetane supplied stone that was used to build the ciborium in the Basilica of St. Tryphon in Kotor.

Nature

Giardino Lepetano offers guests home cooking prepared in the traditional way. The estate is located along a hiking trail used for tours to the peaks of Boka. The grounds feature olive groves, fig trees, grapevines, carob trees and citrus trees. Mala Lega is a fishing spot discovered by fishermen from Lepetane and is known among recreational and professional fishermen.
