The protected area of Platamuni, which includes Krimovica, stretches from Ploče Beach to Cape Platamuni and covers 1,087 hectares.

Culture

The Church of Saint Archdeacon Stefan was rebuilt after the 1979 earthquake with professional support from the Regional Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Kotor. The Church of Rize Bogorodice in Krimovica, Donji Grbalj, was added to the Register of Montenegro’s Cultural Heritage by Decision 65/4 dated 26 January 1989.

Nearby, the Church of Saint Nicholas stands on a 15-metre-high rock in the sea near Krimovica. It is dedicated to the patron saint of sailors and travellers.

Activities

At the sea near Sea Glamping in Krimovica, kayaking, diving, fishing and boat trips are possible. Ploče Beach offers jet skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, beach volleyball, table tennis and an outdoor gym. Electric bicycles can be rented directly at Sea Glamping for rides in the hills above Krimovica.

Getting Around

Sea Glamping is located in Krimovica; the resort gate is near Trsteno Beach and 3 km from Jaz Beach. Route 10, a seasonal line in Budva’s public transport network, runs between Budva and Krimovica via Jaz and Trsteno.

Platamuni is most easily reached by boat. The nearest marina is in Budva, while Bigova has a small jetty at the park entrance.

A beach in the Budva area is described as being approximately one kilometre long and associated with clear water, cafés, restaurants and entertainment on the water.
