Character

Drušići belongs to Old Montenegro and Riječka Nahija. The village has a traditional wine landscape with vines growing on terraced retaining walls; the grapes are used to make rakija. Stone fences and paths to farmsteads are part of Drušići’s rural field pattern.

Routes

The marked Rijeka Crnojevića–Karuč route runs for 9.5 kilometres through Drušići and continues to Karuč. From Podgorica, the approach to Drušići leads via the road to Cetinje, a turn-off to Lake Skadar National Park and the old road to Rijeka Crnojevića.

Vinarija Janković in Drušići is described as a winery where visitors can tour the vineyard and production facilities, taste red, white and rosé wines, rakija and traditional snacks, and take part in the grape harvest between August and September. Culture

In 1523, the Cetinje Monastery owned an abandoned vineyard in Drušići. Drušići is identified as the birthplace of Metropolitan Danilo Dajković; he was born there in 1895. Milo Ilijin Dragojević was born in Drušići, lived there and was buried there. Residents of Drušići and Rvaši built storage huts on the shores of Lake Skadar, from which Karuč later developed.
