History and Culture
In the 18th century, Čanj was used as an alternative port when Kotor and Bar were inaccessible. A stone warehouse is described as the only surviving structure from Čanj’s 18th-century port era. Queen’s Beach is located near Čanj, in Pećin Bay between Petrovac and Sutomore. Queen’s Beach can only be reached by sea and was a preferred holiday destination of Montenegro’s Queen Milena Petrović.
Getting Around
