The villa with barchessa belonging to the former Villa-Polit complex is a villa dating from the late 18th to the 19th century in Trichiana. Settlement in the area dates back to the Mesolithic and began to develop further during Roman times. The Pieve di San Felice is considered one of the oldest churches in Valbelluna and was an ancient parish church dating from the 6th century. The foundations of a US Army barracks are also preserved on Monte Cimone; during the Cold War, it was used as a radio relay station.

Local products and special experiences

Dolomiti Fantasy was created in 2017 through the cooperation of the team of the newly founded Castle of Fantasy association, the Pro Loco of Trichiana, the former municipality of Trichiana and the Red Phoenix cultural association. Every year, Dolomiti Fantasy holds a cosplay competition. Latteria Sant’Antonio Tortal and the La Fiorita shop in Trichiana represent the regional taste: the dairy collects milk from small local farms and processes it into cheese, butter and ricotta. La Fiorita offers local products made from barley, spelt and Sponcio corn, including flour, pasta and biscuits.

Traditional crafts can also be discovered in Trichiana. Intrecci Bellunesi works with straw and softened branches of willow, chestnut or other woody plants.
