Its structure, remodelled in the 19th century by Giuseppe Segusini, includes two bell towers and a dome more than 24 metres high. The church contains a large fresco cycle by Giovanni De Min. This includes “L’Ingresso di Cristo in Gerusalemme”, a work measuring 11 metres in width and 3.5 metres in height. The church brings together architecture and monumental painting in a particularly tangible example.
