Ravina between mountain landscapes and culture

Ravina lies on the slopes of Monte Bondone in the Alps and on the alluvial fan of the Rio Gola. The protected area of Burrone di Ravina extends from the high-altitude slopes of Palon to the settlement of Ravina. For those interested in nature, this brings alpine slopes, a protected area and the alluvial fan of the Rio Gola together as distinct landscape features. When planning a trip, Ravina's location can therefore be associated with both Monte Bondone and the natural area of Burrone di Ravina. The landscape forms a separate focus alongside the cultural attractions and the Caserme–Parolet–Caserme route.

Villa Margon and historical attractions

The Villa Margon complex includes the Cappelletta della Natività di Maria Vergine, an English garden and an adjoining park. The chapel brings sacred architecture to this ensemble, while the garden and park represent designed outdoor spaces. Villa Tambosi, a building considered a palace, is located in the vicinity of Ravina. The MUSE Museo delle Scienze is also located in the vicinity of Ravina. Villa Belfonte and Palazzo Pretorio are likewise in the vicinity of Ravina and, like Villa Tambosi, are considered palaces. The MUSE Museo delle Scienze complements the villas and palaces with the natural sciences. Those interested in culture can choose between different focuses, including the chapel, garden spaces, palace buildings and natural sciences.

Sport and play in Parco di Ravina

Parco di Ravina has a table tennis area, a bocce court and a basketball court. There is also a children's play area with swings, climbing elements, a movable bridge and a slide. The sports courts and play area form two distinct sections of the park, giving sport and play their own respective focuses. For planning the day, the park can therefore be included as a separate section between cultural attractions and mountain-related themes. Parco di Ravina adds specific opportunities for sport and play to a stay in Ravina.

Summits and protected natural areas

The summits of Monte Alto, Parolet, Montesel and Cornetto di Mugon are located in the vicinity of Ravina. They complement the mountain setting of Monte Bondone with four additional specific high-altitude destinations. Parolet is also part of the Caserme–Parolet–Caserme route, which links the summit with a historical route. Hikers can therefore explore the mountain area either from the perspective of individual summits or that of a historical route.

The Caserme–Parolet–Caserme route runs from Caserme via Parolet and back to Caserme. It follows a former military road and a path tracing the route between former positions in the sector, with views over the Adige Valley. When planning a hike, the former road route, the positions and the views over the Adige Valley can be considered as different points of reference. Those who want to combine hiking with historical traces will find a specific route here rather than a purely scenic theme.

Further destinations for your trip planning include Monte Mezza, Campestrin, Garniga Terme, Rovereto, Fontanazzo, Alba, Tiarno Di Sotto and Cembra.
