Pinzolo between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella range

Pinzolo lies at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and at the foot of the Adamello-Presanella range. This dual Alpine setting already gives the town a clear character for a holiday in which you see the mountain landscape not merely as a backdrop, but as the starting point for your own discoveries. Pinzolo and its districts lie in a natural area where the Dolomites are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the area is also recognised as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Choosing a holiday apartment in Pinzolo therefore means choosing a destination that combines natural surroundings, activity and a distinctive local history.

Tours with different rhythms

A specific tour shows how this mountain character can be experienced. The Val Genova Tour no. 981 leads from Pinzolo through Adamello-Brenta Nature Park to Rifugio Bedole. It passes waterfalls, forests, mountain pastures and mountain huts. At the same time, it is not very technical, suitable even for less experienced visitors and ideal for e-bikes. This gives you a clear option if you are planning an Alpine day with manageable technical requirements and electric assistance.

There is also a precise geographical reference for cycling. The Val Rendena cycle route begins about 500 m south of the car park of the Tulot gondola lift, in the direction of Pinzolo. The initial section from Loc. Tulot to Pineta di Pinzolo is closed until the works on the Pinzolo bypass are completed, at the latest until 13 December 2027 or until the end of the works. The complete loop of the Vioftra ski-roll track is 2,146 m long and has a positive elevation gain of 91 m. Its defined length and elevation gain provide the loop with a clear framework for planning your day.

Water and culture for days together

The Biolago di Pinzolo offers a different focus. It is a natural swimming pool suitable for bathing in the Pineta area, near the sports area, playground and centre of Pinzolo. The Biolago has its own well-maintained bathing area for children. The water is naturally filtered and purified and is suitable for swimming without chemical additives. If you are travelling with children, this specific place can be incorporated into a day that combines water, the playground and the town centre.

The Chiesa di San Vigilio, dating from the 10th century, is part of the town's history. In 1539, Simone II Baschenis created the Danza Macabra cycle there. In Pinzolo, very different periods therefore come together: the church's long history and a specifically dated work.

Panoramas and Alpine perspectives

Doss del Sabion offers a 360-degree panorama. Pinzolo is also a starting point for ascents and traverses in the Adamello-Presanella range. This gives you two different perspectives on the same mountain landscape: the wide panoramic view and Alpine activities that are already part of the character of the town.

Choose a holiday apartment in Pinzolo according to the day you want

When choosing a holiday apartment in Pinzolo, you can therefore start with the rhythm you want for your day. If you would like to combine Alpine ascents and traverses, a low-technicality Val Genova tour by e-bike, swimming at the Biolago or the Chiesa di San Vigilio, the town offers various specific points of connection.
