For active days, a moderately difficult circular trail is a good option: it leads from the centre of Mezzana to the Cascata di Mezzana and the hamlet of Castello at an altitude of 1,283 metres, before returning via Claiano.

The landscape around the Laghi del Malghet di Mezzana can also be explored along a dedicated trail. The route leads through the forest to the lakes; the Peace Cross on Cima Gardenè can be seen along the way. For cycling and walking sections, the 35-kilometre Val di Sole cycle and pedestrian path is also available. It runs along the Torrente Noce and follows the river before Mezzana. The sports centre also has two uncovered tennis courts with synthetic surfaces, a grandstand for around 200 people and three bocce courts. This provides additional specific sports options alongside the paths along the river and the winter sports activities.

Historic Centre and Historical Discoveries

In the old historic centre of Mezzana, the parish church of Santi Pietro e Paolo stands next to the Madonna di Caravaggio church. Casa Maturi, a residential building dating from the 16th century and connected with the history of the town, is also located there. The Segheria di Ortisè e Menas offers a special combination of craftsmanship and technology. The restored Venetian sawmill, which is still in operation, is powered by a water wheel. On four levels, you can visit the log delivery and product manufacturing areas, faithful replicas of mechanical components, and the turbine.
