The Renaissance city wall of Glorenza is completely preserved and includes four corner bastions and three gates: Malles, Sluderno and Chiesa. The historic centre of Glorenza also includes patrician houses dating from the 16th century. The parish church of St Pankratius in Glurns dates from the 15th century. The townscape also reflects its trading history: Glurns was a transshipment point for the salt trade between southern Germany and Lombardy.
Historical exploration includes the permanent exhibition “Paul Flora – Vita e opere”, which opened in 2011 and displays up to 60 works by Paul Flora, as well as the exhibition “Tappe di una piccola città” on local history in the Schludernser Torturm tower gate. The Mühlbach stream was diverted directly at the old Etsch bridge and had served as an energy source for the Glurns town mill since at least 1330. The mill wheel was renewed, and in 2004 the mill was completely restored. From the town centre, the Glurns town mill can only be reached on foot. Part of Glurns’s wall walk is accessible from the Schludernser Torturm tower gate.

The PUNI Visitor Centre in Glurns offers whisky tastings with a view of the stills. The self-guided tour of the PUNI distillery uses a web app that guides visitors through the distillery’s production area. The PUNI distillery is located outside Glurns’s city walls in the artisans’ zone. The summit tour to Glurnserköpfl begins at the parish church of St Pankratius in Glurns and initially follows trail no. 9, then trail no. 24 to the summit. The hike to Tartscher Bühel begins at the North car park outside Glurns’s city walls, near the Malser Torturm tower gate. It follows trail no. 18 and then the Bichlsteig trail around Tartscher Bühel. The Etsch cycle path along the ancient Roman road Via Claudia Augusta passes through the medieval town of Glurns.
