The Anello dal capoluogo al Bric Andio circular route begins in the main town of Montaldo Torinese at an altitude of 375 metres. Along the route, Bric Andio is reached at 387 metres; the stated walking time is 1 hour and 35 minutes.
The Quercia del Barbarossa stands on Bric Andio. It marks the boundary between the territories of Montaldo Torinese and Andezeno and was planted around 1800 as a landmark for travellers heading to Montaldo. From Bric Andio, the 360-degree panorama extends from Colle Don Bosco across the Chierese area to the Basilica of Superga and the surrounding hills.
