Holiday apartment in Campiglia Soana: trails and nature at Pian dell’Azaria

The walking trail from Campiglia Soana to Pian dell’Azaria gains 300 metres in elevation and takes about two and a half hours. The Campiglia–S.Besso–Grange Arietta route crosses the plains of Azaria. In spring, you can see chamois, marmots and alpine flora there. The approximate walking time can be planned to allow for breaks and a steady pace; the 300 metres of elevation gain must still be considered as a separate ascent. Even at a relaxed pace, the stated time for the entire walk remains an estimate and not a fixed duration.

The landscape can also be experienced by mountain bike on a dedicated route: the “Da Campiglia Soana alla Grangia Barmaion” MTB route follows the Torrente Campiglia and includes stops at Pian dell’Azaria and the “L’uomo e i coltivi” visitor centre. The two stops provide possible break points during the ride; this means the cycling section can be planned in several stages without assuming an additional route. The Torrente Campiglia remains the watercourse followed by the route. This provides different active ways to experience the landscape around Campiglia Soana during your stay.
