The Sentiero delle Acque is an approximately 4.3 km-long combined cycling and walking trail with sections of gravel and compacted earth. The trail is considered suitable for all age groups. Access is from the SP 96 just outside the centre of Pieve Torina; near the entrance there is a large car park for cars, buses, bicycles and mopeds. The Kneipp course complements the offer near the Sant’Angelo stream: since it opened in 2023, a short section there has led through the water over various surfaces. The Riserva Naturale di Torricchio is part of Pieve Torina’s natural landscape. The nature reserve lies within the municipality, covers 317 hectares and was the first protected area in the Marche region. Pastures, meadows and forests define its character. Churches, monasteries and museums as special discoveries

The Pieve di Santa Maria dates back to the 11th century and preserves several frescoes attributed to Cola di Pietro inside. It is temporarily closed due to earthquake damage. The Eremo Santuario di Sant’Angelo in Prefoglio is also currently inaccessible due to earthquake damage. The sanctuary is also known as Eremo dei Santi and was founded by Benedictines in the 12th century; it stands above a cave that has been considered sacred since pre-Christian times.

The Museo della Nostra Terra reconstructs settings from farmhouses and craft workshops, allowing you to learn about rural life in past times. The museum offers a guided and immersive experience. The medieval Complesso Sant’Agostino also houses an ethnographic museum with more than 5,000 objects relating to the rural life of the Alto Maceratese. Another vivid place to visit is the medieval Mulino di Fiume: two stone millstones are still powered by the water of a waterfall in the adjacent pond. The mill was one of five mills in Pieve Torina and processed more than 700 quintals of grain annually.

The Ponte Romano also leads into an older past. It marked an ancient branch of the Via Flaminia towards Camerino and the Adriatic Sea. The stone bridge is considered stable and well preserved. In Appennino, a hamlet belonging to Pieve Torina, stands the Chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Paolo with two naves and a precious Pietà painting from 1543. The Pianta Maggio is also rooted there as a local spring festival tradition associated with rituals and social gatherings.
