The museum contains around 700 still and film cameras from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Museo Demo-Antropologico d'Arte e Mestieri Antichi is located in the basement rooms of the Palazzo Comunale. It is spread across eight rooms dedicated to agriculture, weaving, various craft workshops, school, printing, housework and cellar work.

Historic Spaces and Walks

The Abbazia di San Firmano is characterized inside by a significantly raised choir, accessed via an imposing staircase. The adjacent Torre Civica of Montelupone has crenellated finials in the Ghibelline style. The historic Teatro Nicola Degli Angeli dates from 1884 and now serves as an auditorium. The Chiesa di San Francesco was built in the second half of the 13th century and later remodelled in the late Baroque style.

The Benedictine Abbazia di San Firmano is located in the municipality of Montelupone, about 4 km from the town centre and near the Potenza River. Montelupone has equipped green spaces and nature trails suitable for walks.
