The Crocifissione was displayed on the altar of Santa Maria in Telusiano until September 1529; Nicolò Bonafede commissioned it for the church’s high altar.

The Chiesa Collegiata di Santo Stefano is the town’s most important church and was built between 1765 and 1781. Its artworks include a wooden statue of the Madonna Incoronata from the Umbrian-Marche school dating from the 16th century, as well as a 15th-century fresco depicting a Madonna del Latte. The Museo di Palazzo Bonafede’s collection includes old drawings by Alessandro Maggiori, with important works from the 16th to the 18th century. It also features a picture gallery with works by Alessandro Ricci and Luigi Fontana, as well as a permanent exhibition of artistic nativity scenes curated by Andrea Pistolesi.
