A two-hour trail leads from San Benedetto in Alpe to the waterfall. Hiking Ideas Between Valley, Ridge and Historic Pass

For longer hiking plans, the second stage of the Sentiero delle Foreste Sacre is an important reference point. It leads from San Benedetto in Alpe to Castagno d’Andrea. The stage initially follows the Fosso dell’Acquacheta valley, passes the Acquacheta Waterfall and the Pian dei Romiti plateau, then climbs to the ridge and reaches Passo del Muraglione. This is considered a historic pass between Romagna and Mugello.
