Nastätten: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Nastätten, the Regional Museum “Life and Work in the Blue Region” provides a historical context for life in the Blue Region. Around 1900, three routes of the Nassau Light Railway met here. They connected Nastätten with Lahnstein and St. Goarshausen, and via Katzenelnbogen with Zollhaus.

Orientation

The “Blue Region” Tourist Information Office provides visitors with information, tips, brochures and a hiking map, and also assists with finding accommodation. It is located in the Regional Museum “Life and Work in the Blue Region”, directly next to the motorhome pitches.

In addition to the museum and the community centre, there are two fully serviced motorhome pitches available all year round. The town centre is approximately a five-minute walk from there.

Those who choose Nastätten as their travel destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.

Food and Drink

Nastätten’s food and drink options include restaurants, pubs, bistros and cafés. They offer opportunities for meals and refreshments.

Hiking and Nature

The Niedermeilingen–Nastätten–Plätzermühle–Holzhausen route is a scenic loop around Nastätten. In addition, a section of the Taunus Ridgeway runs along the old Hessenstraße through Nastätten towards Holzhausen an der Haide.

The Trail of Trees introduces more than 30 native tree and shrub species and provides information about the vegetation via QR code.

The Sauerbrunnen Nastätten “Schwall” spring is located near the Nastätten outdoor swimming pool. The water from this spring was exported under the name “Sinaro” in the early 20th century.

Geographical Location

The BUGA2029 site in the romantic Middle Rhine Valley is considered to be reachable from Nastätten by bicycle, bus or car within a few minutes.
