Another point of reference is the 4.1-kilometre footpath and cycle path at the western edge of the village, which connects the village with the roundabout on Harthauser Straße. The path officially opened in September 2025 and can be used by pedestrians and cyclists. If you prefer to hike in a group, you can also take part in the TSV Oberpframmern hiking programme without being a member. The 2026 hiking programme offers another option when planning your stay; individual outings and dates may change. If you have a particular tour in mind, it is worth checking the date in advance. In winter, TSV Oberpframmern also tries to prepare a cross-country ski trail by the forest when weather conditions are suitable. Unlike the walking and cycling options described above, this activity is explicitly weather-dependent.

By contrast, the annual harvest thanksgiving farm festival at Herrmannsdorfer focuses on culinary delights: offerings include specialities cooked over an open fire, porchetta, pastrami, bratwurst, freshly made Auszogne pastries and freshly tapped Schweinsbräu beer.
