Along the route, canoes, paddlecraft, buoys and similar watercraft may be launched, provided this is done promptly, does not obstruct other users and takes place outside supervised bathing areas.

Getting Around

The beaches of Viviers-du-Lac on the southern shore of Lac du Bourget can be reached via cycle paths or the lakeside route. Viviers-du-Lac railway station is served by TER trains; travellers can reach the TGV in Aix-les-Bains or Chambéry within a few minutes.
