The Vallon de l’Orgère is an important gateway to the core zone of the Vanoise National Park. There, one route has been designated a “Promenade confort” and also follows a marked discovery trail with visual, acoustic and tactile information elements. Around 1.4 kilometres are accessible to people with reduced mobility; the path includes tactile elements, a model and acoustic stations. The Vallon de l’Orgère is also home to a refuge belonging to the Vanoise National Park.

Activities
Norma Loops is a 900-metre-long alpine coaster through the forest of La Norma, accessible all year round. The track has ten bends, six bridges crossing the road and three complete 360-degree turns. The La Norma ski area is located mostly in Villarodin-Bourget and has 65 kilometres of ski runs.
The Rocher des Amoureux is a climbing crag around 70 metres high, with approximately one hundred routes graded from 4a to 8a.
Culture and history
The Saint-Sébastien Chapel was last renovated in 1931; today, it is considered a simple oratory. The chapel at the exit of Villarodin towards Avrieux was relocated and rebuilt after repeatedly falling into disrepair since the 16th century.
Projecting stair towers and covered passageways crossing the street are characteristic architectural features of Villarodin. Along Rue Saint Antoine, traditional houses open onto a spacious square dominated by Saint-Julien Church. The medieval site of Les Tierces comprises levelled dwellings, a medieval path and a chapel on a sloping plateau above the Arc Valley.
The altarpiece of Saint Catherine has smooth columns decorated with faux marble and a central niche containing a statue of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Saint-Julien Church is nestled among the houses of the village of Villarodin. Its bell tower is topped by a tuff spire. Saint-Julien Church in Villarodin can be visited on request at the town hall.
Fortification history
The Ouvrage de Saint-Gobain is a well-preserved fort, now demilitarised, which is managed by an association and open to the public. Fort Saint-Gobain is a fortified work on the Alpine Maginot Line from the 1939–1945 war, with galleries, barracks and technical rooms; the combat blocks are also accessible.
At Fort Saint-Gobain, a marked circular route leads to a self-guided visit. Information panels are available in French, Italian and English; there is also an outdoor path up to the fort offering unobstructed views over the valley.
