Culture

The present-day church of Sainte-Hélène-du-Lac was rebuilt in 1867 and is part of the oldest cultural heritage in the municipality. It is open to the public every Sunday.

The church was restored under the direction of the architect Samuel Revel in a style described as “visant au Roman”. Next to the present-day church is the former priory. La Châtelle is a former fortified castle belonging to the lords of Sainte-Hélène-du-Lac, while Château de la Peysse once belonged to the Order of Malta.

The Sentier Randocroquis du Coisétan bears a label awarded by the Conseil général de Savoie, guaranteeing its accessibility and suitability for a wide audience, including families and people with reduced mobility.
