Saint-Pancrace: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the Les Bottieres area of Saint-Pancrace, forests, meadows, mountain chalets and access to the Les Sybelles ski area come together. The Les Bottières area and its associated upland zone also include extensive areas that are partly mown and grazed sporadically.

Nature

In the higher-altitude areas of Saint-Pancrace, you may encounter roe deer, badgers and wild boar, among other wildlife. The Les Trois Croix et l’Alpettaz hiking trail in Saint-Pancrace is 5.1 kilometres long, takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, and has an elevation gain of 330 metres.

Winter

The Les Bottières ski resort has six runs and three drag lifts, accessible from the snow start area. The ski touring route Montée au Grand Truc also begins there. Its specially created and secured route passes through alpine meadows and forests.

Culture

The Église de Saint-Pancrace was built in the 16th century and completely rebuilt in 1900. Renovated in 2019, the church belongs to the Alpine Baroque style and has a star-covered vault. Inside, there is also a portable altar representing a large Baroque altar in miniature. Volunteers offer a short free guided tour of the church.

Regional character

Although Saint-Pancrace lies within the AOP Beaufort area, the main local businesses focus on beef and sheep meat production.
