Le Pré: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Winter
The new gondola lift, with 40 cabins accommodating 10 people each and externally mounted ski racks, connects the hamlet of Le Pré de Villaroger at an altitude of 1,200 m with the summit of Plan des Violettes at 2,119 m – in less than 7 minutes.
Several marked winter hiking and snowshoe trails of all difficulty levels start at the Villaroger Tourist Information Office near the new gondola lift in the hamlet of Le Pré. In winter, these trails are accessible only when accompanied by a professional because they cross ski slopes.
Trails and Landscapes
The Circuit des Plattières is a 3.7 km circular route with 100 m of elevation gain and blue trail markings. The route runs along the edge of the Bois du Pré forest and offers panoramic views of the village of Le Pré. On the return journey, it passes through the heart of the village.
The Itinéraire du Mont leads through a forest to beautiful mountain chalets. Along the way, views open up of the neighboring mountain range with the La Rosière de Montvalezan resort and the Espace San Bernardo in Italy, as well as of the Mont Blanc massif. The return journey follows the same route; the trail has 100 m of elevation gain and takes half a day.
Village Character
Le Pré and Le Pré derrière are regarded as two twin villages with beautifully restored character. Le Pré is listed as one of Villaroger’s five main villages and lies at an altitude of 1,202 m.
