La Rochette: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Culture
The Musée Saint-Jean presents a permanent exhibition on everyday life in Savoy from 1850 to 1950. It is located in the preserved choir of the 15th-century Saint-Jean-Baptiste church; this choir was restored in 1984.
Water and Activities
Fishing for trout and pike is possible at Lac Saint-Clair from 1 April to 31 December. The lakeside circular path is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is equipped with picnic tables. There is also a free and secure water play area, outdoor fitness equipment and a fitness trail. Since 2025, Lac Saint-Clair has also featured a freely accessible pump track for all skill levels.
The Valgelon-La Rochette municipal swimming pool has a heated 25-metre pool, a small pool, a paddling pool and a snack bar.
Market
The Grand marché hebdomadaire de La Rochette takes place on Wednesday mornings and has been held in the canton for more than 700 years. Depending on the season, it features between 80 and 100 vendors, including sellers of food and regional products.
Landscape
The Le tour de Presle circular trail connects hamlets in Presle and old paths across meadows and through forests. Above the Vallée des Huiles, it offers open views of the rural landscape of Savoy.
Le Bréda is a typical wild mid-mountain stream that becomes a fast-flowing river of the plain along its stretch forming the boundary between Savoie and Isère.
