Fontcouverte-La Toussuire comprises 16 hamlets situated along the road from the Plan des Rois hamlet to the La Toussuire resort. The Pointe de l’Ouillon reaches an altitude of 2,431 metres and offers a 360-degree panorama of Oisans and the Vanoise National Park.

Culture
The centre of Fontcouverte-La Toussuire lies on the “Les Chemins du Baroque” cultural trail and has two listed religious buildings. The town hall houses Pierre Desmazières’ permanent photo exhibition “Fontcouverte d’hier et aujourd’hui”.
Below the chapel of Les Villards stands a cromlech consisting of twelve upright, partially buried stones arranged in a semicircle; it is considered a remnant from the Neolithic period. The cromlech is visible from the square in front of the church of Fontcouverte.

The Bureau Montagne Arvan offers guided hikes on the trails around Fontcouverte-La Toussuire, providing information about local fauna, flora, natural environments and cultural heritage.
L’Adret is a 3.3-kilometre family hike lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, starting at the Église de la Rochette in Fontcouverte-La Toussuire. The hike passes the Chapelle de la Rochette and the cromlech in Le Villard.
Au Fil de l’Eau is a 2.1-kilometre, one-hour circular route starting at the Tourist Office at the La Toussuire resort in Fontcouverte-La Toussuire. It offers the opportunity to discover the Édioulaz stream and a small larch forest.
Le Quiz du Goupil is a nature activity along the “Au fil de l’eau” hike. It starts behind the pump track and includes tasks for discovering mountain plants.
Local Produce
The Chèvrerie de Savoué allows visitors to milk goats by hand and offers an aperitif meal featuring farm products. La Bergerie de l’Etoile sells artisanally produced sheep-farming products, cheese and cured meats directly from the farm and at the seasonal market in La Toussuire.
