Culture
In the center of the village stands the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, which is classified as a historic monument. The lower part of the bell tower of the Église de Dullin may date from the 14th or 15th century. The Chapelle Saint-Joseph is one of the remains of what is probably the oldest still recognizable church in Dullin.
The Pont de Téloncin is also one of the local highlights: it is a very old bridge that was recently restored. Some barns and houses date largely from the late 18th century and have been renovated, bringing their stone walls to the fore.
Nature
In the immediate surroundings of Dullin, three kilometers away and at the foot of the Montagne de l’Épine, lies Lac d’Aiguebelette. Motorboats are also prohibited on Lac d’Aiguebelette in the immediate vicinity of Dullin. From the village center, there are views over the lake valley, the Montagne de l’Épine and the Chartreuse.
Dullin has a semi-open bocage landscape characterized by significant fodder farming.
Walking routes
La vache et le Follaton is an easy hiking route in Dullin that takes two and a half hours and covers 4.6 kilometers. It leads through the village of Dullin, past the washhouse and farms, and continues to the Belvédère du Grand Bec viewpoint.
La boucle du Follaton follows the Ruisseau du Rondelet and includes a short detour to its waterfall. From the Banc des Dames, the loop offers views over the Guiers valley. A rescued and partially rebuilt dry-stone bridge over the Ruisseau du Rondelet has been incorporated into the Sentier du Follaton hiking trail.
The Parcours ludique du village de Dullin is a playful orienteering course suitable for children. Ten hidden checkpoints, each with a question, can be found in the village center. Dullin also has a large play area with an obstacle course and bike park.
Local character
The Follaton is a local legendary creature that people once believed protected the inhabitants and their homes. On the way back from the hike The Cow and the Follaton there is a cooperative shop where visitors can taste cheese made from the milk of the cows encountered during the hike.
