Culture

The Church of Saint-Jean-Pied-Gauthier was restored around 1481 by the lords of Montchabod in the flamboyant Gothic style. Above the church's entrance portal, the tympanum features a fully sculpted statue of John the Baptist. The present-day church was built around 1857 in the neoclassical style and has predominantly 19th-century furnishings. On 19 April 1932, the Church of Saint-Jean-Pied-Gauthier was listed as a historic monument by decree.
