Hiking

The Sentier Fil de l’Eau, created in 2012, connects Mémard with Pointe de l’Ardre via two footbridges on stilts measuring 230 and 107 metres in length, respectively, and a 2-kilometre-long nature trail along the shore.

The Du lac à la forêt de Corsuet hiking trail is 8.5 kilometres long, has an elevation gain of around 150 metres, and leads through Brison-Saint-Innocent and Aix-les-Bains.

The hiking trail to the Grotte des Fées is 5 kilometres long and has an elevation difference of 370 metres. It takes around 2.5 hours for experienced hikers and around 3 hours with children; a lamp is recommended, and children enjoy the trail.

Nature

Ferme Gigot, also known as Balcons de Brison, is a biological corridor consisting of forests and meadows. Ferme Gigot offers viewpoints over Lac du Bourget and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Culture

The historic Promenade du Gigot was created in 1784 for the visit of the Prince of Piedmont and his wife, Clotilde of France, and led from the shore of Lac du Bourget to the heights of Ferme Gigot.

The Saint-Innocent Angora rabbit, also known as the French Angora rabbit, is a rabbit breed originating from Brison-Saint-Innocent.

At Auberge de Brison, guests can enjoy lake fish and fried small perch.

Water

Pedal boats and canoes can be rented at Pointe de l'Ardre beach. Pointe de l'Ardre beach has sanitary facilities, showers, and a large wooded park.

The Sentier Fil de l’Eau is closed every year from 15 October to 15 March to provide a period of rest for birds during the breeding season.
