The Etang du Mariet basin is a synclinal depression made of limestone that was filled with glacial moraine material. At the Grotte de Prérouge, only the entrance itself is accessible independently; the interior is reserved for cavers with appropriate equipment.
Culture
Moulin Morand is an authentic oil mill dating from 1896. It can be visited year-round, and oil can also be purchased there throughout the year. The mill operates with a hydraulic water wheel powered by the Nant de St François.
