The “No. 42 – une Forêt grandeur nature” circular tour is a difficult 23.7-kilometre e-bike route starting in Les Salles. It runs mostly through forest and offers the opportunity to discover the Pierre Branlante.

The fitness trail at La Plagnette is 1,000 metres long and includes ten exercise stations. The “No. 11 – la Plagnette” circular tour in the Bois Noirs massif alternates between wooded areas and hilly terrain; halfway along the route, the Étang de Royon is a suitable place to rest.

Culture

The Church of Saint-Pierre des Salles dates back to the 12th century and is considered the oldest church in the canton. The parish church in Les Salles contains a waxed wooden statue of the Virgin Mary dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, which is classified as protected.

There are two picnic areas at the Étang de La Plagnette. Fishing is also possible there; visitors can obtain information about this at the on-site restaurant. The motorhome service and parking area in Les Salles allows the disposal of grey and black water, water refilling and the disposal of household waste.
