Culture

The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Fàtima is a chapel belonging to the religious heritage in the hamlet of Fontimpe in Le Cergne. It was built between 1943 and 1948 on the initiative of parish priest Guyot and funded by donations from local residents who had prayed for the prisoners to return.

After climbing the steps, the top of the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Fàtima offers an exceptional panorama. In 2026, the chapel is open every day all year round.

Le Cergne offers seven wooden chalets all year round. A local service accessible to everyone connects Le Cergne with Charlieu, where a weekly market is held.
