The Cluniac priory of Saint-Martin in Ambierle features architectural evidence dating from the 12th to the mid-18th century. It was built between 1450 and 1480, features Gothic architecture and has a Burgundian-style roof made of polychrome glazed tiles. The Passion altarpiece was donated in 1476 by Michel de Chaugy, an adviser to Philip the Good.
