Culture

Pont Coppet was built on the orders of the Duke of Savoy, Charles Emmanuel I, to improve the connection between Chambéry and Geneva. The stone bridge has a single semicircular arch. Its construction shortened the route between Rumilly and Vallières by more than one lieue, or approximately 5 kilometres. The bridge as a whole has been listed as a historic monument by a decree dated 4 November 2015.

The Church of Saint Peter was rebuilt between 1645 and 1650 in place of a dilapidated medieval Romanesque sanctuary. In 1864, it was demolished and rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic style.

La Chapelle du Pessey was built by the hamlet's residents at the end of the 19th century and received stained-glass windows in 1977. The chapel also underwent a second restoration, the work on which was completed in 2009 and lasted two years. Le Puits du Mollard was built in the 19th century.
