Pringy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The rural Chapelle de Ferrières was built in the 15th century on what was known as the Route de l’évêché and founded as a village church in the late Middle Ages. It lies in an isolated location in the forests of Ferrières. It can be reached on foot via the Chemin de la chapelle. It is considered to be open year-round; admission is free, although it is only open to visitors on exceptional occasions.

The Église Saint-Maurice is open for individual and group visits, both self-guided and guided. In the Saint-Maurice church in Pringy, the stained-glass window “Verrière (vitrail archéologique): Vierge à l'Enfant, saint Maurice (baie 0), verrière à personnages” depicts the Virgin and Child and Saint Maurice.

History

The Pringy historical trail begins at the church car park. It is 3 kilometres long, has an elevation gain of 70 metres and takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Mas des Jacobins is a horseshoe-shaped farm with a manor house; the municipality acquired it in 1979 and restored it. La Tuilière on the Chemin du Bachal is a brickworks founded in 1868 with a Hoffmann kiln.

Plage d'Albigny is a beach in the immediate vicinity of Pringy. Plage de Menthon Saint Bernard is a beach in the vicinity of Pringy. Montagne de Veyrier and Montagne de Lachat are also mountains in the vicinity of Pringy.

From 5 January 2026, SIBRA line 2 will temporarily run only as far as Pringy Gare due to construction work in the Pré Billy district; the “Pringy” terminus will not be served.
