Culture and History
The Ardoisière des 7 pieds welcomes visitors to its workshop and explains the history of slate mining in Morzine, as well as the extraction and processing techniques. It is one of the last businesses in France where slate is still mined and has a small on-site exhibition of slate products.
A cultural tour through the old town centre provides insights into Morzine's traditional residential architecture, the way people lived in the past, local customs, the history of Savoy and its religious heritage.

A variant of the route to Lac de Nyon-Guérin via Nyon leads from the summit of Pointe de Nyon to the lake along a route that is entirely downhill and offers views of Morzine and the Vallée d'Aulps.
The walk in Dérêches Park includes picnic areas, a skate park, tennis courts, a pump track and a high ropes course.

The Pleney Bike Park is located in the centre of Morzine and can be reached directly from the town centre via the Pleney gondola lift.
The Patinoire du Palais des Sports in Morzine is a covered ice rink measuring 56 × 26 metres, with a play area for children.
The Bureau des Guides de Morzine-Avoriaz offers mountaineering, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata and hiking in summer, as well as ski touring, ski variants and off-piste skiing, snowshoeing and heli-skiing in winter.
