The Domaine nordique de La Chapelle Rambaud has 22 km of cross-country ski trails. The Nordic area offers groomed trails for classic cross-country skiing as well as snowshoe routes through the forests. It also has marked paths that are accessible to younger visitors, along with snowshoe routes through forests and over ridgelines.
The Centre Equestre Le Domino offers riding lessons for all levels as well as short and long horseback rides.
Culture and History
The local calendar includes the traditional Vogue festival, which takes place in La Chapelle-Rambaud on 14 and 15 August. The chancel vault of the Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church bears the date 1530. The nave and bell-shaped portal tower of Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption were rebuilt during the Sardinian period.
The Chapelle de la Marmotte was built in 1873 and can be visited by everyone. An oratory near the church was built in 1940; it houses a Madonna and Child. L'Oratoire Notre Dame is a small chapel with a wooden door and a two-section slate roof.
The Pont de Combvalloux was renovated, restoring its original appearance, and its safety railings were renewed based on traditional designs. It forms part of the shared cultural heritage of La Chapelle-Rambaud and Pers-Jussy.
Cuisine
La Chèvrerie Les Chapellines offers goat's, sheep's and cow's milk cheeses.
