The Sentier Nature du Vuache begins in the hamlet of Épagny at an altitude of 615 m in the municipality of Jonzier. Two hiking options are indicated for the trail: three hours over 7.5 km or four hours over 9.5 km. The route marked as a hiking trail, “Paysages et récoltes”, passes through Chênex, Jonzier-Épagny, Vers and Viry. Its natural and rural heritage includes the Bois du Mont, the Bois aux Reynauds, old farmhouses, the agricultural landscape and traditional orchards.

Culture
The Church of Saint Maurice in Jonzier is a neoclassical church built in the 19th century. The former church of Épagny now has the appearance of a farmhouse and preserves a granite holy-water font, a religious beam bearing the year 1641, and a wooden statue of Saint Sebastian several centuries old.
In the hamlet of Vigny, the residents built a Marian grotto during the Second World War to give thanks for the hamlet having been spared from fires. The historic site of Abbaye de Bonlieu is located in the vicinity of Jonzier.
