Vinsobres: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Among the special experiences in Vinsobres are insights into winegrowing and winemaking. Domaine Saint Vincent offers a tour on this subject, including the vinification cellar, the barrel cellar and the techniques used to mature the red, white and rosé wines.
Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment can choose Vinsobres as a specific travel destination.
Wine and Regional Culture
The Domaine Saint Vincent’s wine and cheese workshop includes a tasting of four selected cheeses matured by Fromagerie Lou Canesteou in Vaison-la-Romaine. In addition, Cave La Vinsobraise offers wine tastings, vineyard tours and musical evenings in Vinsobres all year round.
A recurring highlight is La Nuit du Vinsobres in the village streets. The sixth edition took place in 2026; the programme included wine tastings, a menu with wine pairings, a market for regional products, musical performances and food trucks.
Culture and Activities
The Jeu de piste de Vinsobres is a family treasure hunt in the historic centre. There are three different puzzle versions for children aged 4 to 12: one for ages 4–6, one for ages 7–9 and one for ages 9–12. Participation is possible all year round during the tourist office’s opening hours.
ESN – Tir à l’Arc offers archery in nature in Vinsobres, on a shaded and equipped site. Options include either a playful introduction or a nature trail in the forest with various targets.
Historic Centre
Vinsobres’ historic centre invites visitors to take a stroll and discover, among other things, the Temple de Vinsobres, the Tour de Paris and the Rue du Tripot. The Temple de Vinsobres was formerly a parish church called “du prieuré” and overlooks the old village from a hill above the vineyards.
Information about the Temple de Vinsobres can be found at its entrance; the key is available at the Petit Bistro in the village of Vinsobres. Individual visits are possible in Vinsobres every day all year round, and admission is free.
Nature and Trails
Les bornes papales is a marked, moderately difficult circular hike covering 17.91 km, with a duration of 5 hours and 14 minutes and a positive elevation gain of 385 m; the start and finish are in Vinsobres. The hike passes through forests, vineyards and lavender fields to the former boundaries of the papal possessions of the Eclave des Papes, marked by stone boundary markers. The route was inaccessible at that time due to an officially ordered closure of the forest areas in the municipality of Vinsobres.
