Saint-Restitut: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Église Saint-Restitut is a 12th-century Romanesque church in the Provençal style, flanked by an 11th-century Romanesque funerary tower. In 1840, the church was classified as a historic monument.

Culture and history

Since 2001, the Centre d’art contemporain de Saint-Restitut has presented exhibitions. A total of 97 exhibitions have been held in the former presbytery, whose rooms were made available by the municipality.

The funerary tower features a frieze of 55 reliefs extending over more than 32 metres. The townscape is complemented by “Les Sentinelles”, a contemporary work made of limestone blocks in honour of the quarry workers of Saint-Restitut.

Townscape and paths

The medieval structure of Saint-Restitut includes paved lanes, calades and narrow passageways. The short Parcours de la Pierre hiking trail takes visitors along the old paths and through the landscapes of the municipality of Saint-Restitut. Its starting point is at the post office and the Saint-Restitut municipal administration offices.

Chapel and viewpoint

The Chapelle Saint-Sépulcre is a chapel in the Flamboyant Gothic style with a hexagonal floor plan. It can be reached on foot and is located around 500 metres from the town centre.

From the Belvédère, there are views over the Tricastin plain and Pierrelatte.
