Culture and history
The Tour Randon was built around 1280 as a medieval keep and military prison and was later converted into a chapel. Every year on 15 August, it is honoured with a festival celebrating the origins of the monument and the history of Nyons.
The Pont Roman is a Romanesque bridge with a single arch, 43 metres long and more than 18 metres high. It has been protected as a historic monument since 1925.
In the vicinity of Nyons are the ruins of La Villasse – Maison du Buste d'Argent and the Tour de l'Horloge church. In the wider region around Nyons are Château de Grignan and the historic site of Abbaye de Bouchet.
Water and olives
Nyonsoleïado is a water park for families and friends. The 1,200 m² bathing area features a 25-metre swimming pool, a lagoon, water slides, rivers and paddling pools.
Olive & Sens offers a permanent exhibition about French olive oils and olives, as well as cooking workshops with chefs. The Sentier des Oliviers features information boards about the history and cultivation of the olive tree and the production of olive oil.

The mountain Mont d'Autuche is located in the immediate vicinity of Nyons. The mountains Montagne de la Veyronne, Le Cougoir and Montagne de la Taillade are also located around Nyons.
