The Château de Montélimar is a listed monument and was opened to the public in 1983.
The permanent exhibition at the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montélimar was enriched by a donation from Pierre Boncompain. The collection includes works by Bonnard, Chagall, Manet, Tobey, Savin, Boncompain, Zoran Music, Picasso and Renoir. From 12 March to 4 May, admission to the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montélimar was free.

Food and Discoveries
The Musée du Nougat Arnaud Soubeyran offers visitors the chance to visit the oldest nougat factory still in operation in Montélimar. At the Fabrique Arnaud Soubeyran, nougat is made in copper cauldrons; marshmallows, Provençal calissons and homemade caramels are also produced there.
The Palais des Bonbons, du Nougat et des Souvenirs brings together museums about sweets and chocolate, artisanally produced nougat, old toys, the N7, Provençal nativity figures, teddy bears and dolls from childhood, a Lego city and American model railways. The facilities also include an air-conditioned indoor play area, a shaded outdoor area with a restaurant, a covered picnic area, a playground, a mini-farm and an exotic aviary.
Nature
At the animal park in the Jardin public de Montélimar, visitors can see ducks, geese, chickens, horses, mules, goats, roosters and peacocks. The animal park in the Jardin public also features a guessing game in which visitors are asked to identify the different animal species.
Cycling
The ViaRhôna southern route combines cycle paths with shared minor roads. The ViaRhôna Sud cycle route passes through Montélimar towards the Mediterranean coast.
