La Touche can be explored via the signposted “Mastaize” hiking route. The easy circular trail starts and ends in the village, is 8.47 km long, includes 120 m of ascent, and takes 2 hours 45 minutes to walk. It leads through the forest and around Mastaize Mountain. In the distance, you can see the mountains of Eyzahut, the Trois Becs and Coupseau. On the way back, you can stop at the Romanesque Notre-Dame-de-Mastaize Chapel.
Another route is “Les Citelles et Serre Pointu”. It follows the Citelle stream, passes through old hamlets, and goes by a former mill, lavender fields, Serre Pointu and viewpoints overlooking the plain. There is a car park in the village for this hike; it is on the left along the small road beside the church.

History
The Château de La Touche includes substantial sections of foundations from its military heritage, as well as a battlemented wall enclosing the courtyard. The château was built in the 12th century and is one of around thirty castles and fortified houses that the powerful Adhémar family had built around Montélimar. The privately owned Château de La Touche opens its doors each year as part of the European Heritage Days.
The Notre-Dame de Mastaize Chapel also tells a story of a turbulent history: it was founded in the 13th century, destroyed in 1581, and subsequently rebuilt by Louis de Lattier, a naval officer and owner of the estate, following a vow to the Virgin Mary.
