Culture and History
The exterior tour of Château de Grignan includes the main façade, the formal garden, the fountain courtyard and a panoramic terrace offering 360-degree views of Mont Ventoux, Provence and the village of Grignan.
The Collegiate Church of Saint-Sauveur was built between 1535 and 1542 on the initiative of Baron Louis Adhémar. Its Renaissance façade is combined with a Gothic interior. The roof terrace was part of the original design and was fitted with a balustrade in 1680.
The Fêtes nocturnes de Grignan began in 1987 and today present a specially created theatre production each summer in front of the façade of Château de Grignan.
The Grotte de Rochecourbière was created in the 17th century by the Countess of Grignan. It was a popular walking spot near the château, where picnics were also held in summer.
A guided tour of Grignan conveys 1,000 years of history and takes visitors through the picturesque streets of the village with a conference guide.
Nature
The Grignan heritage trail, which explores the history of the village, follows the route of the former tramway, starts at the Grotte de Rochecourbière and offers circular routes of 2.5 and 4.5 km. The trail passes cultivated truffle plantations, riparian woodland, lavender fields, vineyards, agricultural land, as well as woods and forests.

The Grignan market offers produce from local farmers, colorful fabrics and clothing, pottery, as well as handmade items.
