Glandage is part of the ZNIEFF area of Gorges des Gâts et Forêt du Sapet, which covers 1,607.4 hectares and also includes the municipality.

Nature
A torrential mountain stream flows through the Gorges des Gâts, bordered by stands of grey alder. The cliffs of the gorge provide a refuge for peregrine falcons, eagle owls and golden eagles.
Among the area's distinctive formations are the Sucettes de Borne: sharply pointed, eroded rock formations along a short watercourse.
Hiking
Stage 7 of the GR®93 runs from Grimone to Lus-la-Croix-Haute, passing through the municipalities of Glandage and Lus-la-Croix-Haute. It is a moderately difficult traverse covering 7.9 kilometres, with a walking time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, 321 metres of ascent and 396 metres of descent.
Stage 7 of the GR®93 is accessible by public transport. For the return journey, options include the SNCF railway station at Lus-la-Croix-Haute, regional express bus route 31 between Grenoble and Marseille, and an on-demand transport service.
Another route is L’Aupillon, a 7.69-kilometre circular hike lasting 2 hours and 45 minutes, with 480 metres of ascent, which starts and ends in Glandage.
The northern ascent of Aupillon passes through a beech and fir forest, while the southern slopes are influenced by sub-Mediterranean and Mediterranean-mountain climates. The circular hike is signposted with the green-and-yellow trail markings of the Vercors Regional Nature Park.
With support from donkeys for pulling and carrying, the Buen’Aventure association develops adapted mountain trails for Joëlette all-terrain wheelchairs and off-road wheelchairs.
Culture
The Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Glandage initially belonged to a priory dependent on Guignaise Abbey and, from 1242, to a priory dependent on Aurillac Abbey.
The Chapel of Saint John the Baptist in Grimone was first mentioned in 1702 and briefly served as a parish church in 1731. It stands at an altitude of 1,130 metres on the southern edge of the Vercors Massif.
