History
The Church of Saint-Sauveur in Cléon-d'Andran was built at the very end of the 11th century. The church contains two reused bas-reliefs in the first northern pillar of the nave.
The village of Cléon-d'Andran developed in concentric circles around the church; the oldest houses are located in the centre. At the beginning of the 19th century, the outer ring of fortifications was still present and was later transformed into a ring-shaped boulevard.
Culture
Château de Genas is a private 17th-century estate protected as a historic monument; the protection also covers the surrounding wall, the gate and the garden.
The Fontaine des éléphants was created from moulds of the float “Tales of the Thousand and One Nights” at the corso in May 1966.
The grounds of Château de Genas are exceptionally opened to the public for the European Heritage Days. Admission is free, and visitors may explore independently or in small groups on a tour led by the owner.

The village festival of Cléon-d'Andran takes place every year over the Pentecost weekend and includes, among other things, a large flea market on Sunday.
