In Aurel, Domaine des Muttes offers cellar tours and tastings of Clairette and Crémant de Die. In Aurel, Ducol Frères SCEA offers tastings of Clairette de Die Tradition or Brut.

In Aurel, Raspail Georges EARL offers cellar tours and tastings of Clairette and Crémant de Die. At Raspail Georges EARL, two-thirds of the vineyards are planted with Muscat and the remaining part with Clairette. The vineyards of Aurel produce Clairette de Die.

Activities

The paragliding school based in Aurel offers beginner courses. For flights with the Jeux d'Ailes paragliding school, the meeting point is in Aurel next to the small Saint-Pierre chapel.

Stage 5 of the GR 965 from Rimon-et-Savel to Die leads to the “Aurel–Clot du ciel” paragliding launch site. The loop above Aurel also passes a paragliding launch site, identifiable by a windsock.

Access to the forest areas of Aurel is temporarily prohibited due to drought and the risk of forest fires.

Stage 5 of the GR 965 from Rimon-et-Savel to Die is temporarily closed; the closure of the Justin, Laup and Solaure mountain ranges is based on a prefectural order dated 17/07/2026.
