Reyrieux: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Reyrieux covers 1,569 hectares, stretching from the banks of the Saône in the southwest to the hamlet of Pouilleux on the Dombes Plateau. The landscape along the Saône in Reyrieux is bordered by an almost continuous strip of riverside woodland. The Poype du Châtel is part of the local history: it was built on a promontory, and its castle has been documented since 1301.
Culture
Gallo-Roman remains were found in the Bret district of Reyrieux. A spring containing iron and hydrogen sulfide gave Reyrieux the name Reyrieux-les-Bains between 1861 and 1900.
Every year, Le Galet offers a cultural season with performances and meetings. Occasional visits are offered by reservation in cooperation with the Friends of the Village of Reyrieux association. The property is now privately owned.
Le Galet and the library have been closed since February 2; reopening at the beginning of the 2026–2027 cultural season in September is planned.
