Nature
The wetlands of Mogneneins include ponds, damp hollows and the banks of the Saône, providing habitats for endemic species. The damp meadows are home to the snake's-head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris L.), a typical and rare flower of the Val de Saône.
Mogneneins has several well-preserved dovecotes; they are typical of the Val de Saône.
Paths and activities
Walks are possible along the banks of the Saône, at Port de Mûre or on the towpath. The Randoland circular trail is a playful treasure hunt for families with children aged 4 to 12.
The Voie Bleue cycle route is also part of the local network of paths: near Mogneneins/Peyzieux-sur-Saône, it has a picnic area.

The «Circuit du patrimoine au halage» trail leads from the Calvary located in front of the church, on the forecourt, through the hamlet of Flurieux and past a small chapel to the banks of the Saône. The Calvary of Mogneneins is designed in the Flamboyant Gothic style and dates from the 16th century. Mogneneins Church contains classified paintings.
The historic site of the Abbatiale de l'Assomption de Belleville is located in the vicinity of Mogneneins.
