Mantenay-Montlin: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Route des Trois Moulins is a 20-kilometre circular route starting in Mantenay-Montlin. It leads to four mills, three of which are crossed by the Reyssouze.

Activities

The Voie verte La Traverse runs through Mantenay-Montlin, one of 14 municipalities along the route. The L3 mountain bike/touring bike connection also links the village of Mantenay-Montlin with the Ferme de la Forêt.

The Poney de Bresse equestrian centre offers a wide range of activities, from recreational riding to competitive sport. These include introductory sessions, recreational riding and advanced training in dressage, show jumping and cross-country riding, as well as trail rides and pony discovery sessions.

Fishing is possible in the Reyssouze at Camping du Coq in Mantenay-Montlin; the river is classified as a second-category waterway.

Culture

The Coq sculpté en inox stands in the centre of the village on the edge of the D975. The sculpture is 6 metres high and weighs 2 tonnes.

The Moulin de Mantenay-Montlin, also known as the Moulin de la Reyssouze, has preserved its original appearance, including a section partly built using half-timbering. The mill can only be viewed from the outside.

Food and Drink

The Le Relais des Trois Moulins restaurant serves Bresse and regional specialities, including Poulet à la crème, Brechets and frog legs. Ferme Josserand sells Bresse poultry and goat cheese directly from the farm.
