The Chalet de la Chenaillette is a typical example of the traditional architectural heritage of the Haute Chaîne du Jura.

The P’tit Marché du Jeudi in Échenevex takes place every Thursday, including public holidays, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Place de la Mairie, whatever the weather.

This market includes a mobile food shop offering meat, cheese, butter, and various local products.

It also includes various dishes prepared on site, crêpes, and pizzas.

Trails and Landscapes

The Échenevex–Branveau–Montchanais hike leads to the summit of Mont Chanais at 1,446 m, from where hikers have a 360-degree view.

It runs through the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park and partly through the Réserve naturelle nationale de la Haute Chaîne du Jura National Nature Reserve.

The hike is classified as difficult, is 14.6 km long, and includes 866 m of ascent and descent respectively.

The Promenade des Sources de l’Allondon is a family-friendly riverside walking trail and includes a themed path exploring the importance of water and mills.
